Membership Types
REALTOR®
The below application applies to any licensed real estate salesperson currently working for a REALTOR® office that is a member of GSSBR. Please carefully read the instructions and fill out the application completely. When you finish the application, mail the applicable dues, application fee, and application to GSSBR. Upon receipt and acceptance, you will become a Provisional member with the ability to call yourself a REALTOR®, as well as have access to membership events and benefits. After completing the Code of Ethics and the New Member Orientation and Induction, you will become an Active Member of the association.
Secondary REALTOR® Members
REALTORS® who are interested in joining GSSBR at the Local and State level (and pay National dues through their primary board) or at the Local level (and pay their State and National dues through their primary board) can also fill out the below application.
The application fee will be $125.00.
Designated REALTOR®
Each real estate office will have a designated REALTOR® who will join GSSBR at the time the office joins for REALTOR® membership. Please carefully read the instructions and fill out the application completely. If you are already a member of GSSBR and have paid your dues for the current year, the only fee applicable is the application fee, which can be mailed to our office along with the completed application. Otherwise, you will pay the applicable membership dues and application fee, which can be submitted to our office along with the completed application. Upon receipt and acceptance, you will become a Provisional member with the ability to call yourself a REALTOR®, as well as have access to membership events and benefits. After completing Code of Ethics and the New Member Orientation and Induction, you will become an Active member of the association. Your office will immediately be activated and any salespersons in your office wishing to join will fill out the above REALTOR® application to join our association.
Affiliate Membership
Affiliate membership is applicable to any associate working in a housing-related field, i.e. mortgages, titles, appraising, home inspection, contracting, moving companies, etc. Affiliate members may attend membership events and receive affiliate membership benefits. Please read the instructions carefully to learn of the varying levels of affiliate membership and applicable fees for each level.
Transferring Board Membership or Office Affiliation
If you are transferring from another board and would like to join GSSBR, please fill out the attached form, as well as the applicable application for membership (either REALTOR® or REALTOR® Office) and send both to GSSBR, along with the $50.00 transfer fee and applicable dues.
If you are currently a member of GSSBR and have switched REALTOR® offices, please fill out the Transferring Agent Form and forward it to GSSBR.
